Montanans Securing Reproductive Rights (MSRR) is seeking a Field Director to lead the campaign’s efforts to pass an Amendment to secure the right to abortion. MSRR partners currently include Planned Parenthood Advocates of Montana, Planned Parenthood Action Fund (national), Forward Montana, the ACLU of Montana, the ACLU (national), the Fairness Project, and State Policy Advisors.
This race will be one of the most important and exciting ballot measures in the country this cycle, with the potential to make an enormous and lasting impact. A win on this ballot initiative means protecting freedoms from future government interference and securing rights for Montanans for generations to come.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
Create and execute a robust campaign field plan in coordination with campaign manager, Indigenous Organizing Director, and partner organizations to meet all field goals.
Work with volunteers, regional committees, and other local organizations to organize, execute, and manage field operations.
Track and report on all of the campaign’s contacts through NGP, maintain campaign’s VAN database.
Manage junior staff including organizers, volunteer leads, and fellows.
Integrate any paid field plans or grantee field plans into the overall direct voter contact goals of the campaign.
Position Requirements
At least one cycle on a campaign in Field in a management role. 3+ years experience on campaigns in field or operations.
A strong background in Votebuilder, GSuite, and field platforms.
Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of being detail-oriented.
Excellent attention to detail and writing ability. Ability to remain highly organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
