JOB DESCRIPTION

THE ORGANIZATION: Mi Familia Vota builds Latino political power as a national civic engagement organization that unites Latino, immigrant, and allied communities to promote social and economic justice through citizenship workshops, voter registration, and voter participation. We are in eight strategic states: AZ, CA, CO, GA, FL, NV, TX, DC, and NC. Established in 2008, Mi Familia Vota is a 501 c(4) organization, with Mi Familia Vota Education Fund as a 501 c(3) entity. We are headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona.

 

SUMMARY: Mi Familia Vota is implementing a robust program. The Field Manager will oversee a team of canvassers as they communicate with Latino communities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and implement a voter outreach strategy with the State Director.

Follow required reporting procedures and report daily to the supervisor.

Set, meet and exceed metrics for the coalition’s direct voter contact, digital, text, and field integration work.

Design and standardize best practices for data management using all platforms for Door-to-door, phone, and SMS voter contact.

Engage with community members in Spanish and English

Meet daily and weekly goals for voter outreach contacts

Train and manage a team of canvassers as they perform duties

Adhere to all the health and safety protocols established by Mi Familia Vota

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least two cycles of field experience, preferably being a Regional Field Manager in those cycles.

  • Experience managing and training high-performing staff

  • Experience with and ability to train on electoral databases

  • Experience managing and training high-performing staff

  • Experience with and ability to train on electoral databases

  • Ability to design, maintain and improve a goal-oriented accountability structure

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; successful at motivating staff to meet recruitment and voter contact goals

  • Strong cultural competence with communities of color and experience working with diverse groups

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends

  • Access to reliable transportation

  • Bilingual – Conversational in both English and Spanish required.
