About the Campaign:
The campaign to elect Dan Tully for Congress is building a people-powered movement to restore integrity, accountability, and the rule of law in Washington. We’re looking for passionate, driven organizers who believe in community, hard work, and the power of grassroots politics to make real change.
Position Overview:
Field Organizers are the backbone of the campaign. You’ll be responsible for building volunteer teams, engaging voters, and executing the field plan across the 8th Congressional District. This is a fast-paced role that demands initiative, attention to detail, and a love of talking to people — even when they’re holding a cup of coffee and pretending not to see you.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and voter outreach events.
Build and maintain relationships with local community groups, activists, and stakeholders.
Execute voter contact programs, including canvassing, phone banking, texting, and relational organizing.
Track data and report progress on voter contact and volunteer engagement goals.
Assist with event planning, logistics, and visibility efforts.
Work closely with campaign leadership to implement the campaign’s voter turnout strategy.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, you can talk to anyone, anywhere.
Experience in political campaigns, community organizing, or volunteer management preferred.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Comfortable using campaign software and digital tools (VAN,G-Suite, etc.) or willing to learn fast.
Reliable transportation and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Deep commitment to electing Dan Tully and advancing Democratic values.
