Overview
The Ruth Fortune for Congress campaign is hiring a full-time Lead Field Organizer to join its growing team in Connecticut. The Lead Field Organizer will be responsible for mobilizing voters, coordinating volunteers, and building a robust field program in the First Congressional District.
Ruth is an attorney, a mother, a wife and a daughter who began her journey in the U.S. as an undocumented child. She is running for Congress to fight for Connecticut families’ right to an economy that works for everyone, quality public education that prepares our children for success, and a democracy that respects our constitutional rights.
Ruth has persevered in the face of adversity and her journey is an American success story. Ruth has the tenacity and grit to stand up to the Trump Administration’s ploys to terrorize us while also fighting for a Connecticut where more American success stories continue to be written.
The ideal candidate is curious, hard-working, and committed to fighting for Connecticut families and our democracy.
