POSITION SUMMARY
The Field Organizer plays a critical role in managing and leading a field team to ensure high-quality performance and the achievement of organizational goals. This position involves anticipating challenges, solving problems, and making well-informed decisions while providing guidance to a team of canvassers. The Field Organizer is responsible for maintaining accountability and ensuring team alignment with business objectives, expectations, and standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor a team of canvassers to meet project goals.
● Ensure consistent team performance through hands-on management and accountability
systems.
● Work flexible hours, including 8-10 hour shifts, seven days a week, as project demands.
● Lead from the field by participating in canvassing activities, including door-to-door engagement,
script delivery, and direct voter contact.
● Develop and implement daily canvassing plans, including route assignments and progress
tracking.
● Oversee the use of digital tools such as Minivan or Grassroots Unwired to manage voter contact
data effectively.
● Maintain and organize office supplies, equipment inventory, and other essential resources for
field operations.
● Ensure the accuracy and quality of voter registration forms and other data submissions.
● Create and maintain new hire documentation, organizing them systematically for easy access
and use.
● Travel to various locations as required to support field operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
● 1-3 years of experience in canvassing or field organization, with a strong track record of leading
teams and meeting project objectives.
