Employment Type and Compensation:  Full-time; $3500 - $4500/month depending on experience and qualifications

Overview of Campaign:  State Representative Julie Rogers is running for the 19th Senate District seat in Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties.  Currently serving in her third term in the Michigan House, Rogers is a practicing physical therapist and in 2023 was appointed to serve as Chair of the House Committee on Health Policy.  Prior to winning election to the Michigan House, Rep. Rogers served on the Kalamazoo County Commission for eight years, including serving as Board Chair.  She launched her campaign for State Senate in July, 2025, and is currently unchallenged in the Democratic primary.

Responsibilities:  The Field Organizer will work with the Campaign Manager to implement the campaign’s plan to persuade, identify and turn out voters in the November 3, 2026 election.  They will also perform other duties as required by the campaign.  This position will report directly to the Campaign Manager.

Skills and Experience:  Applicants must be committed to be part of a winning campaign through November 2026 and have:  (1) Campaign field experience, including internships (one or more cycles paid experience preferred); (2) Strong interpersonal communication skills; (3) demonstrated organizational abilities; (4) basic computer, Excel, NGP/VAN, and social media skills; (5) a safe driving record and access to dependable transportation; and (6) a strong work ethic and willingness to work campaign hours.
