Shannon Taylor's campaign for Congress in Virginia's 1st District is seeking Field Organizers to join our team in Richmond, VA. This full-time, entry-level position is based in Richmond, VA and will support our field program. Field Organizers will play an integral role in flipping a critical seat — one that is key to Democrats taking back the U.S. House.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers
Execute voter contact programs including phone banking and canvassing
Spend significant time in the field making phone calls and knocking doors to turn out and persuade voters
Track and report on volunteer recruitment and voter contact goals
Build and maintain relationships with community members and local organizations to expand the campaign's volunteer base.
Attend regular staff meetings and trainings as required.
