A NYC Congressional campaign is seeking a full-time Field Organizer to help build grassroots power. This role will recruit and train volunteers, drive voter contact programs, and engage working-class and immigrant communities in a people-powered campaign fighting for dignity, justice, and representation.
Overview and Key Responsibilities:
Field Organizers will be responsible for implementing all aspects of the campaign’s voter contact strategy, including:
Recruiting and managing volunteers. and building relationships with neighborhood community members
Build & lead door to canvassing, phone banking, high traffic canvassing, and relational organizing events
Participating in voter contact (Canvassing & Phone Banking)
Staff and attend community events
Maintain proper data hygiene
Qualifications:
0-2 years of campaign experience or community organizing as a staff member, fellow, or volunteer (Preferred)
Ties to NYC (Preferred)
Ability to speak Spanish (Preferred)
Access to a reliable phone & computer
Ability to work with diverse groups of people & strong interpersonal skills
Ability to stay organized, multitask, and thrive in a fast paced environment
Campaign hours are often atypical. All applicants must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
