A New York State Comptroller candidate with a strong record of fighting for New York’s working families is looking for full-time Field Organizers to organize communities in New York State. Field Organizers will coordinate volunteers, fellows, and members of organized labor to contact voters on the campaign’s behalf.
This is a full-time, in-person job based in one of various locations across New York State. Field Organizers will report to the Field Director. The job runs through the June 23rd primary election.

Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for phone banking and canvassing events.
Develop and maintain relationships with local elected officials, candidates, volunteers, and partner organizations.
Recruit, train, and manage volunteer leaders who will organize their own communities for the campaign.
Provide daily/weekly reports of voter contact and volunteer recruitment data to the Field Director.
Work with the Campaign Manager, Communications Director, and other staff as needed to implement organizational goals across the state.
Plan and recruit for weekly volunteer events in your respective counties.
Must always bring a positive attitude and be calm under pressure.
Job Requirements:
Prior organizing experience preferred (paid, volunteer, or internship).
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Ability to work long and unusual hours (some weekends and nights, especially leading up to the election).
Detail orientated and comfortable to work in a fast paced environment.
High comfort with Zoom, Google Workspace, and other digital productivity tools.
Access to a reliable vehicle. Travel is required.
A background in VoteBuilder and MiniVan is preferred.
