Field Organizer- Democratic Campaign
The Chris Ryan for State Senate campaign is seeking highly motivated candidates for the position of Field Organizer.
Responsibilities
Implement all aspects of the voter contact program in assigned areas.
Train, recruit, and manage a team of volunteers and interns.
Attend local events to recruit volunteers, build new community relationships, and strengthen existing relationships.
Submit nightly and weekly reports of voter contact and volunteer recruitment numbers.
Meet daily and weekly voter contact and volunteer recruitment goals.
Requirements
Ability to connect and build relationships with a wide variety of different people
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
Willingness to work long and unusual hours (including nights and weekends)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
Passionate about electing Democrats
Must have own transportation, cell phone, and laptop.
Salary
Compensation is set at $4000/month. This is a ** full-time**, in-person position based in the Syracuse, NY area to begin ASAP. Applicants local to Oswego, NY who are unable to commute daily will also be considered.
