JOB DESCRIPTION

The Boulder County Democratic Party (BCDP) is seeking a driven, self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic candidate for a part-time field organizing position during the 2026 election cycle.

About this role:

The Field Organizer’s primary responsibility will be to work directly with the BCDP Field Team to recruit, train, and oversee precinct organizers and volunteers across the county, and help plan numerous organizing campaigns, such as voter registration, canvassing, literature drops, and other Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts.

In addition, the Field Organizer will work as needed with other BCDP teams, such as the Outreach & Inclusion Team (OIT) to build and maintain relationships with local activist and community organizations, in particular in Latino, LGBTQ+, and other underrepresented communities, and with the Volunteer Team to recruit, train, and manage volunteers for all BCDP needs, such as communications, community events, or fundraising.

The Field Organizer will report to the Vice Chair for Internal Planning and Implementation, who will set specific weekly priorities and targets. This role is structured around opportunities for personal and professional development, training, and mentorship, and will provide chances for networking with political campaigns, the state and county Democratic parties, and other local activist organizations.
