Sharice Davids for Congress is looking for field organizers!
Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers including but not limited to door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, voter registration and events.
Build up a strong volunteer base for Get Out the Vote (GOTV) in November 2024.
Develop and maintain a strong and trusting relationship with the county officials, candidates, volunteers, and partner organizations.
Must be able to hit metric goals on a weekly and quarterly basis and work well under pressure
Provide regular reports of voter contact and volunteer recruitment data to the Field Director.
Other responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
Prior organizing experience preferred (paid, volunteer, or internship)
A background in VoteBuilder and MiniVan is preferred.
Full availability for the last two weeks before an Election is required.
Ability to work long and unusual hours (some weekends and nights, especially leading up to the election).
Detail oriented and comfortable to work in a fast paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license. Travel is required.
