Marie Gluesenkamp Perez represents Washington’s 3rd Congressional District. She is a small business owner and mom of a toddler who flipped a Trump +4 district by showing up everywhere, actually listening to people, and focusing on the real-world problems of working people.
Marie For Congress is one of the most successful House campaigns in the country, developing and deploying innovative strategies in some of the nation's most competitive terrain.
Marie for Congress is seeking a team of Field Organizers to build and execute a strong volunteer-led voter contact program in an effort to send Marie Glusenkamp Perez back to DC to represent Southwest Washington.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Field Organizers will be crucial to Marie for Congress’s efforts to reach, persuade, and mobilize voters in order to re-elect Marie Gluesenkamp Perez to Congress. Field Organizers will report to the Field Director. This job is a full-time, campaign cycle position, with an end date of November 15, 2026. Evening and weekend work will be required, particularly as we get closer to the 2026 General Election
Responsibilities
Field Organizers will be responsible for:
Managing and executing phone banks, canvasses, text banks, and other voter contact efforts.
Recruiting, managing, and training volunteers to participate in direct voter contact such as door-to-door canvassing and phone banking in pre-assigned regional turfs.
Executing a variety of campaign visibility events to spread awareness about the candidate and organically recruit new volunteers.
Drafting and executing creative plans to contact and mobilize voters and volunteers.
Learning to use and navigate campaign tools like VAN, Mobilize, Scale to Win, and Hustle.
Preparing volunteer materials, maintaining attendance lists, and soliciting volunteer shifts by phone and email.
Building and maintaining relationships with volunteers, volunteer leaders, activists and community stakeholders.
Meeting and tracking weekly metrics and goals within each turf, including door-knocking requirements.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Be goal-driven, detail-oriented, a problem solver, and determined to send Marie Gluesenkamp Perez back to Congress.
Have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate fast paced situations tactfully.
Have a current driver’s license and car.
Be able to work outside of traditional office hours, especially leading up to Election Day.
Previous experience with political campaigns either in paid or volunteer positions is encouraged but not required
