Brian Munroe for State Representative is seeking passionate, energetic, and committed individuals to join our team as a Field Organizers to mobilize supporters, build relationships, and drive the campaign’s objectives forward. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about political change, enjoy community engagement, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Compensation: $3,500-$4,500 commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility will be to build and mobilize a strong, community-based volunteer network and grassroots organizing program.
Organize and coordinate campaign events, including phone banks, and weekend canvassing events
Develop and implement strategic plans to recruit, train, and manage volunteers within assigned regions
Qualifications
Access to reliable transportation, laptop, and smartphone
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Previous campaign experience, such as volunteer management or campaign outreach is highly desirable but not required
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse range of individuals.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
Familiarity with digital tools and platforms such as Votebuilder, and Mobilize is a plus
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as campaign needs dictate.
This position will start immediately, and continue through November 6th 2024.
