Heidi Beidinger for Indiana – House District 5
Position: Field Organizing Director
Location: Indiana House District 5 includes Granger, Mishawaka & Osceola
The Field Organizing Director will build and manage an innovative, data-driven voter
mobilization program throughout the district. The Field Organizing Director should have
demonstrated ability in relational organizing and be skilled in managing multiple,
competing priorities simultaneously while maintaining a sharp focus on details. The
person in this position will be expected to work irregular hours, including nights and
weekends, and must have access to a laptop and reliable car transportation. The Field
Organizing Director will report to Heidi Beidinger, Candidate, and collaborate with the
entire Heidi for Indiana team.
Heidi Beidinger ran in 2022 and created a solid foundation. She comes to this election
cycle with many trained and willing volunteers as well as team captains. The district is
flippable and can be won with a strong field program. Further, if just four house seats
are flipped in Indiana, we will break the Supermajority that has been in place for nearly

Key Responsibilities:
Coach, train, and mentor team captains on effective volunteer management,
effective campaign strategies including but not limited to recruitment, door-to-
door canvassing, and other necessary field tactics
Develop, nurture and manage the Heidi for Indiana volunteer coalition to ensure
campaign goals are met
Promote leadership at every level of the campaign, with an eye towards building
sustainable and permanent grassroots activism
Provide training on all aspects of volunteerism including minivan, canvassing,
relational organizing and phone banking
Monitor field data; set priorities and goals; make adjustments as needed to meet
goals
Work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure success at all levels

Experience leading a paid canvass program
A positive, friendly and professional attitude
Willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies and techniques.
Previous canvassing and community organizing experience is essential
Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
Compensation:
$3500-$4500 per month (determined based on qualifications)
Possible performance-based incentives
Mileage reimbursement for canvassing time
