The Finance Assistant will support key aspects of the campaign's fundraising program. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and excited to help power a top-tier Democratic campaign to victory. You’ll gain hands-on experience working closely with senior staff in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Working with the team to meet fundraising and organizational goals.
Building fundraising events through phone and email outreach.
Conducting donor research to identify new prospective donors.
Maintaining the current donor database.
Staffing fundraising events and meetings.
Staffing and prepping candidate call time and assisting with follow up.
Assisting with other additional tasks that are related to the goals of the organization.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated interest in politics and Democratic campaigns.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Self-motivated team player.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Access to reliable transportation (and a valid driver's license).
Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs.
