Beth Adubato for Congress is seeking a finance assistant to join our finance team. This role will be a key part of our campaign’s fundraising efforts, working within the finance department to help support our in-state events program, call time program, and overall fundraising program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supporting the call time program
· Work closely with the fundraising consultant to assist in the scheduling, staffing, and prep for the call time program
· Research and prospect potential donors
· Helping to fill in and staff candidate call time as needed
· Supporting the events program
· Working with the fundraising consultant and in-state team to help coordinate and organize events across the state
· Work directly with hosts on planning and executing fundraising events
· Managing event invites, RSVP lists, and donation processing systems
· Staffing events across the state
· Helping to prepare memos and other briefing materials
· Overseeing the donor thank you program
· Assisting in operational needs such as compliance and mail
· Other responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
· Strong relationship-building and donor management skills
· Excellent writing and editing skills as well as attention to detail
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, shifting environment
· Willingness to learn, share, and collaborate across departments
· Willingness to work long hours and irregular campaign hours, including nights and weekends
Preferred, but not required:
· Experience in a finance role on a campaign or similar organization
· Experience working with NGP and ActBlue
· Additional consideration will be given to candidates with NJ ties
