Team Deb for New Mexico is seeking a hardworking, passionate, highly-organized and Finance Assistant capable of showing leadership in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Finance Manager and is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with the finance team and hosts to track, plan, and build fundraising events
Staff and assist with fundraising events across New Mexico
Prepare briefing materials for the candidate and surrogates
Support candidate call time by identifying prospective donors, preparing calls, and conducting follow-up and pledge-chase
Assist in staffing candidate call time as needed
Cultivate relationships with donors, stakeholders, and event hosts in New Mexico
Ensure databases (NGP, Numero, ActBlue, etc.) are accurate, organized, and up to date with important notes, contact information, and source codes
Additional Responsibilities
Complete other fundraising tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager and Finance Director
Assist the candidate and larger campaign team in staffing and other needs as assigned
Qualifications
Fundraising experience is preferred, but not required
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage several projects in a fast-paced environment and be responsive to timely needs
Proficiency with G-Suite, NGP, ActBlue, and Numero is strongly preferred
Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends as required
Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
