The Rob Sand for Iowa campaign is looking for a highly motivated Finance Assistant. This position will report to the Finance Director.

Salary:$4,800/month, employer-sponsored healthcare

About Rob Sand:
Auditor Rob Sand – Iowa’s only Democrat in statewide or federal office and the state’s most popular elected official – made a historic entrance into the open governor’s race, raising a record-breaking $2.25 million in the first 24 hours. The Cook Political Report quickly shifted its rating of the race from “Solid Republican” to “Lean Republican,” calling Rob “the strongest contender his party could have recruited.” Having served as Assistant Iowa Attorney General and Iowa’s chief public corruption prosecutor, Rob was first elected Auditor in 2018 and re-elected in 2022 with strong bipartisan support. Key Responsibilities:
Helping staff the candidate for call time
Conducting donor research and prospecting potential donors
Working closely with the members of the finance team to organize and manage a call time program
Working closely with the members of the finance team to organize, schedule, and run fundraising events
Coordinating operational processes, including compliance
Other duties as assigned

Commitment to electing Rob Sand and flipping the Iowa governor’s seat
Growth mindset with the ability to accept and implement feedback

Willingness to work long hours during peak season and take initiative
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively and support colleagues
