JOB DESCRIPTION

Background:

Yes on 4 is a statewide campaign of allied organizations and concerned citizens working together to protect Floridians’ access to reproductive health care and defend the right to bodily autonomy. This campaign is focused on winning Amendment 4, the campaign to remove politicians from private medical decisions around abortion. From March to November 2024, the campaign will focus on raising money, earning media, mobilizing voters, building coalitions, and securing 60%+ support at the polls. Ideally candidates have experience in fundraising or administrative efforts for issue advocacy, elections, or ballot campaigns but it is not required. The Finance Assistant reports to the Finance Director of the Yes on 4 campaign. Job Description: The Finance Assistant for Yes on 4 is responsible for helping the effort to resource the multi-million dollar campaign through finance tasks, database management and administrative assistance. The Finance Assistant will report to the Finance Director and will also work closely with the full finance team. Key Responsibilities:

● Provide significant database management assistance, including entering call-time notes, merging duplicate contacts, ensuring proper spelling of names and correct addresses, etc.;

● Conduct donor research for prospective donor lists;

● Solicit and follow up on low dollar asks;

● Monitor fundraising trends and update the full finance team on said trends;

● Occasionally staff call time, track call time results and process contributions;

● Participate in any odd jobs requested by the Finance and Deputy Finance Directors in order to achieve the goals of the Finance Plan;

● Assist Events Managers with event logistics such as follow ups to venues, vendor scheduling, and more;

● Assist Events Managers with event RSVP coordination;

● Assist Events Managers with event staffing in-state

; ● Work with the finance team to successfully execute an eight-figure Finance Plan; and

● Other tasks as assigned by the Finance Director. Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Affairs, Business Administration, or a related field / or equivalent experience.

● This is an entry level position. Campaign, fundraising and/or administrative experience is a plus but not required.

● Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and comfortability with spreadsheets, search engines and databases are essential.

● Must be able to stay on task and work in a team in a high pressure environment.

● Familiarity with fundraising software and tools, including ActBlue, donor databases, email marketing platforms, and event management software, including Every Action is a plus.

● Strong understanding of reproductive rights and familiarity with the Reproductive Justice movement is highly preferred.

● Previous campaign finance experience or general campaign experience is a plus. Additional Requirements:

● This is a full-time position. The position is based in Florida and is remote, within the state. Close proximity to Tallahassee is a bonus.

● Some travel may be required for events throughout the state.

● Must be able to work on nights and weekends as needed.

● Must be able to hold this position through November 30th, 2024.
