A campaign for US Senate in Kansas is hiring a Finance Assistant to join their rapidly growing team.
The campaign is hiring a Finance Assistant to handle event logistics, donor correspondence, CRM management, and contribution processing. This role is critical to supporting our busy fundraising team. If you are organized, responsive, and want to learn the fundraising side of a major Senate campaign, this is the perfect entry point.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, including venue selection, catering, invitations, RSVPs, and day-of execution.
• Manage donor correspondence, including thank-you letters, invitations, and contribution acknowledgments.
• Maintain and update donor records in the campaign’s CRM system.
• Process contributions and ensure accurate records for FEC reporting.
• Support the Finance Director and Deputy Finance Director with administrative tasks, scheduling, and donor meeting preparation.
• Assist with event follow-up, including pledge tracking and post-event communications.
• Manage fundraising event supply inventory and materials.
Experience & Qualifications
• Prior experience in event coordination, fundraising support, or administrative roles, preferably in a political or nonprofit setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with CRM databases and standard office software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
