Vikki Goodwin for Texas is seeking a Finance Assistant support to the campaign's fundraising operation for the 2026 General Election. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for supporting the campaign and the candidate in their efforts to raise funds by researching donors, assisting with call time, staffing fundraising events and meetings, and using best practices and testing new methods to meet fundraising goals.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, and relationship builder who can thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment.
Ongoing donor research
Promote and staff fundraising events
Candidate fundraising support and consultation
Manage fundraising database and maintain data integrity
Create fundraising and follow-up materials
And all other duties as assigned by the Finance Director
Creating graphics and communications
Staffing candidate call time
Ideal candidates will have at least one cycle of finance experience
Well organized
Committed to electing Democrats
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends, as necessary
