Lifelong Democrat Mayor Jerry Demings seeks a Finance Associate to join his campaign for governor of Florida. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Orlando, Florida.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day finance operations, including researching prospective donors, maintaining the donor database, and event preparation
Help manage donor outreach, acknowledgments, and communications, ensuring timely and accurate engagement
Maintain and update the campaign’s finance database (e.g., NGP, ActBlue, or other platforms)
Prepare materials for finance team meetings, donor briefings, and events
Provide logistical support for fundraising events, including attendee tracking, RSVPs, and onsite coordination
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Proficiency with spreadsheets and database management
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with NGP, G-Suite, and related software preferred
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Ability to work long and irregular hours as needed, including evenings and weekends
A valid US driver’s license and access to reliable, insured transportation
Based in Orlando, Florida, or willing to relocate
Timeline and Compensation:
This is a full-time, in-person, paid position beginning immediately and running through the Democratic primary on August 18, with the potential to extend through the general election.
