Rise Political Strategies is seeking a Finance Associate to support its day to day fundraising operations.
Rise is a boutique, woman-owned national political fundraising firm working with Democratic and progressive causes and candidates.
Responsibilities
Assisting with fundraising call time and follow up
Identifying and researching potential new donors
Compiling briefings and event materials
Provide key administrative and organizational support for the team
Help with planning and execution of events, as needed
Other responsibilities as required
Qualifications
Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with an interest in democratic fundraising
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment, as well as being able to work independently
Ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment
Experience working in NGP and proficiency in excel and Google Sheets is preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license
Prior campaign finance experience is a plus, but not required - this position is a great opportunity for former field organizers with a desire to learn other aspects of a campaign
The salary for this position is $48,000 annually ($4,000 per month). Applicant must be based in PA (ideally Philadelphia or Pittsburgh) or willing to relocate.
