Tim Hayes for State Representative seeks a detail-oriented, outgoing campaigner to serve as Finance Director. The Finance Director will work with the Campaign Manager to raise the funds needed for this highly competitive campaign in Pennsylvania’s 143rd House District.
HD-143 includes Perkasie and is located near Doylestown in Bucks County in the Philadelphia suburbs. One of the largest house districts by area in southeast Pennsylvania, it features a mix of suburban and rural characteristics. Tim—a veteran, environmental policy expert, and local elected official—is running against an incumbent Republican in a district that is rapidly trending blue.
The finance director will manage the campaign’s donor outreach and fundraising operations.
Responsibilities include:
Donor research and list building.
Staffing the candidate during donor calls.
Planning for and overseeing fundraising events.
Maintaining data standards for campaign donor list.
Assisting campaign manager and treasurer with compliance.
Drafting fundraising emails and other communications.
Building and maintaining relationships with donors and other stakeholders.
Other reasonable tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
At least one campaign cycle of finance experience, or related experiences.
Experience with NGPVAN/Votebuilder.
Strong communication and organization skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to electing Democrats up and down the ballot.
Local ties preferred, but not required.
A driver’s license, reliable access to a car, and a smartphone are all required to fulfill this role.
