Responsibilities and Expectations:
Assist the campaign manager in managing and growing the individual, labor, PAC, member, and digital giving program
Manage the finance staff, making sure they have the support and supervision necessary to succeed
Develop & manage a call time program with the help of a call time manager/ finance associate that builds and maintains the principal’s relationships with new and past donors
Develop & manage an innovative events program, including but not limited to: host recruitment, scheduling, logistics, and staffing events both in California and nationally.
Maintain relevant financial trackers for the campaign
Work with the campaign manager to structure the candidate’s schedule
Assist in managing the NGP and ActBlue databases and maintain data integrity
Work on other duties as assigned by the campaign manager
The Finance Director should possess:
A minimum of 2 cycles in campaign fundraising
Experience with online tools management, including social media platforms and databases. NGP and ActBlue experience.
Excellent written and oral communications skills
An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines and an ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
An ability to work some weekends and evenings during peak work seasons.
Fluency in Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, or another language spoken in the district is a big plus
