The Opportunity: We’re hiring a** Finance Director** to lead a national and in-district fundraising program that powers Don’s path through a competitive 3-way primary and a critical-hold general election. The Finance Director will be a senior campaign leader with a chance to build a finance program from the ground up. What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive Finance Plan — including donor research, call time, email, digital, events, grassroots fundraising, and donor relationship maintenance
Lead and manage candidate call time, including preparing lists, tracking pledges, and following up with donors over time
Plan and staff finance events locally and nationally, ensuring events have strong host committees and that the candidate is prepared for events
Hire, train, and manage a Call Time Manager and Finance Interns
Serve as a key decision-making partner to the Campaign Manager on budgeting and strategy
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
Has 1–2+ cycles of campaign finance experience
Thrives in call time and events, and can coach a candidate to do the same
Brings strong written and face-to-face communication skills and is able to juggle multiple priorities
Is fluent with ActBlue, Numero, donor research, and compliance tools
Compensation & Logistics:
Salary: $7,000–$8,500/month with a healthcare stipend and 2 weeks of PTO per year.
Must be willing to work in person. Evening/weekend work and regular travel will be required.
