Job Title: Finance Director
Location: SW Portland with opportunities for hybrid work
Compensation: $6,000 - $8,000 per month DOE, full health insurance benefits, PTO, and cell phone and mileage reimbursement
Hours: Full-time

FuturePAC, the campaign committee of the Oregon House Democrats, is seeking to hire a collaborative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented professional to help lead House Democrats and Democratic candidates to victory in the 2026 election cycle. The Finance Director will be responsible for setting and reaching ambitious fundraising goals to support the work of the Caucus and our candidates and campaigns. The role reports directly to the Executive Director and will manage an evolving fundraising team.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Design and execute a winning fundraising plan for FuturePAC in collaboration with the Executive Director and Caucus Leadership
Track, project, and monitor cash flow and available spending
Train, consult, and coordinate with staff, candidates, and House Democrats on individual fundraising plans and strategies
Organize, manage, and prospect donors for call time for members
Manage grassroots/small-dollar and major donor programs
Organize successful fundraising events
Coordinate and write initial copy for direct mail and digital fundraising appeals
Manage and motivate other members of the finance team
Support candidates and campaign staff with compliance questions
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Work, volunteer, academic, and life experience are all acceptable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly and open attitude
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines to complete projects on agreed-upon timelines.
Ability to remain flexible, handling multiple work streams and pivoting when needed.
Ability to work in a high-stress environment under tight campaign deadlines, with a tendency for organization, kindness, and humor
A minimum of one cycle of experience in political fundraising and development, with a demonstrated track record of success, is required. Past electoral campaign fundraising experience preferred.
Successful event planning and project management experience
Experience managing a database or CRM and organizing fundraising data
Strong commitment to equity, racial justice, and alignment with our goal of electing Democrats to the Oregon House of Representatives
Capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, both in-person and remotely
Valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and ability to travel statewide (less than 10%)
Ideal Qualifications
Experience with NGP-VAN
Knowledge of ORESTAR and campaign finance in Oregon
Knowledge of Oregon donors, advocacy groups, and Oregon elected officials
