Salary: $6,500//month, commensurate with experience

Description: The campaign of Rebecca Cooke for Congress is seeking an experienced Finance Director for the 2024 election cycle to help defeat Congressman Derrick Van Orden and flip WI-3 back into Democratic hands. WI-3 is one of the last truly toss-up congressional seats left in Wisconsin and this promises to be a highly competitive and expensive election. We are building the team up in Q3 of 2023 to help put Rebecca’s campaign in the best possible standing heading into the on-year.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and execute a winning finance plan for both the Democratic Primary election and general election.
Identify, cultivate, and retain donors throughout both the State of Wisconsin and the greater United States.
Conduct a profitable event strategy with a particular focus on engaging high-level donors both in Wisconsin and at the national level.
Work with both the consultant team and the campaign manager to build a robust digital fundraising program featuring emails, texting, and social media.
Directly manage associated finance staff, including both a calltime manager and an events coordinator.
Other tasks as assigned by the Campaign Manager.
Preferred candidates should have the following skills and experiences:
At least two cycles of campaign finance experience with actionable results.
Proficiency with NGP8, ActBlue, and GSuite.
Experience in working directly with retained consultants in both message crafting and email targeting.
Prior management of staff and/or direct-reports.
Experience with Finance Projections and reporting.
Further Details: This is a salaried full-time position based in the Chippewa Valley of Wisconsin with an immediate start date. The campaign will assist the chosen applicant in covering moving expenses up to $1,000. A health care stipend to cover health insurance costs will also be provided.
