The Finance Director will be responsible for all aspects of the finance program including (but not limited to) donor research, assisting the candidate during call time and fundraisers, and overseeing the finance program. This job is based in Madison Wisconsin with a mixture of in person and remote work. The ideal candidate has at least 2 cycles of fundraising experience on progressive campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Support all aspects of the campaign's fundraising program including coordinating with senior advisor, campaign manager and candidate on priorities and strategic opportunities
Manage the candidate's call time program including scheduling, staffing, research, and preparation
Experience with NGP and Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets
Overseeing donor research, collating lists of past donors, and building a progressive donor network
Plan and manage fundraising events including house parties, and major donor programming
Assisting campaign and candidate with follow up and outreach to donors
Staffing candidate at fundraising events, meet and greets, and other events
Willingness to try new and ambitious projects to push the envelope and do fundraising in new innovative ways
Qualifications preferred
Attention to detail especially with follow up items and correspondence
Willingness to try new things and fundraise outside the box
Capability to work outside typical 9-5 schedule, and willingness to work long hours
Personability and comfort in large crowds and working a room
An interest in graphic design/graphic creation
