Zach Dembo is a ninth-generation Kentuckian, Navy veteran, and former federal prosecutor who is the Democratic nominee in Kentucky’s open 6th congressional district. Zach Dembo raised $1.05M in his primary campaign, outraising the seven-person Democratic field combined for three reporting quarters in a row.
Kentucky’s 6th congressional district is a R+7 district in play. While Donald Trump won the district by 15 points, recent polling shows Zach tied with the Republican nominee Ralph Alvarado, and his former boss, Andy Beshear, won the district by 20 points in 2023.
Roles & Responsibilities
Draft and execute a comprehensive campaign finance plan that includes call time, events, meetings, and digital fundraising.
Oversee all projections and cashflow in collaboration with the campaign manager to ensure the financial needs of the campaign are met.
Serve as lead fundraiser for the campaign, interacting with donors, bundlers, partners, etc.
Hire, train, and manage all staff, including Deputy Finance Director and several interns. Work with the Deputy Finance Director to oversee call-time programs with the candidate, expand existing donor databases, and plan fundraising events.
Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least 1-2 cycles of experience on a campaign in a finance role
Familiarity with NGP, ActBlue, Google Drive, and spreadsheets. Previous Warchest and Call Time AI experience preferred.
