Cultivate relationships with individual donors, PACs, bundlers, and allies
Write donor communications including emails, call time memos, event invites, and thank-you notes
Track progress toward fundraising goals and produce regular finance reports
Ensure FEC compliance in coordination with campaign treasurer or compliance vendor
Identify new donor opportunities across Chicagoland, the national progressive space, and the South Asian and Gen Z donor networks
What We’re Looking For:
3–5+ years of experience in campaign finance, political fundraising, or development
Familiarity with NGP, ActBlue, and donor research tools
Organized, persistent, and detail-oriented—with a talent for building relationships
Experience managing call time for a candidate or principal
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, startup-style campaign environment
Deep alignment with the campaign’s values and mission
Bonus if you have:
Chicago-area donor network or connections in progressive national giving circles
Experience fundraising in competitive federal races
Comfort with high-net-worth donor engagement and fundraising events
Familiarity with compliance rules and reporting requirements
Compensation:
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Benefits included. Travel support as needed.
