Deja Foxx for Arizona is looking for a Finance Director to lead the team’s fundraising program in Arizona’s 7th Congressional District Special Election. With a July 15th Primary, this will be an exciting opportunity to quickly scale a program for a Gen-Z candidate with an established and growing national profile. The ideal applicant has at least one cycle of experience in federal campaign fundraising, particularly in a management capacity running a robust call-time program, and a deep understanding of compliance, high-dollar donor engagement, and fundraising strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive finance plan, including call time, events, digital fundraising, and PAC outreach, managing all aspects of donor relations, including prospecting, cultivation, and stewardship.
Oversee and expand the candidate’s call time, ensuring follow-ups and donor commitments are met.
Plan and execute fundraising events, both in-person and virtual, coordinating logistics and donor outreach.
Supervise finance staff, consultants, and interns, ensuring smooth operations within the department.
Track fundraising progress and regularly report metrics to senior campaign leadership. This includes maintaining compliance with FEC regulations and ensuring accurate reporting of all contributions in partnership with the Compliance team.
Qualifications
Multiple cycles of federal campaign fundraising experience in a senior or management role and a strong understanding of FEC compliance and reporting requirements.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced campaign environment with proven success in managing call time, donor relations, and fundraising events.
Experience working with NGP/VAN and Numero CRM databases.
Compensation for the position will be $7500/month. This position is a full-time role.
