Matt Maasdam for Congress is searching for a Finance Director for the 2026 election cycle to lead an aggressive campaign fundraising program in one of the country’s most high-profile toss-up House races.
This position will start ASAP. This position is based in Michigan’s 7th Congressional District and the employee will be expected to regularly staff the candidate in-person.

Responsibilities:
Work with the team and principal to develop and execute an aggressive fundraising plan comprised of call time, in-state and national events, digital fundraising, surrogate and endorser bundling, and other fundraising channels.
Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly fundraising goals, regularly analyzing and sharing progress to goal with the team and suggesting creative new fundraising ideas.
Lead the campaign’s fundraising events program by planning, executing, and staffing events, managing relationships with key hosts, bundlers, and partner organizations.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance team and provide support for call time as necessary.
Regularly staff the candidate at fundraisers and other political events in the district.
Other responsibilities as assigned, based on the needs of the campaign.
Qualifications:
At least one full cycle (2+ years) of work experience in political campaign fundraising
Hard worker who thrives in a fast-paced work environment, with a high level of attention to detail
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Commitment to the team’s core values of teamwork, judgment, integrity, passion, and courage
Familiarity with NGP, ActBlue, Google Drive, and call time software
Salary: $6,500++ per month, dependent on qualifications and experience.
