Position Overview:
The Vindman for Congress Campaign is seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Director to spearhead the finance operation for one of the most competitive DCCC Frontline congressional races in the country. Vindman for Congress has consistently been one of the strongest congressional fundraising programs across both parties during the 2025-2026 cycles.
Primary Responsibilities:
Execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy in collaboration with campaign leadership to ensure the overall health of the finance program and meet programmatic goals.
Directly work with national fundraising consultants, digital fundraising consultants, and other team members to manage and align multiple fundraising channels.
Manage the call time program with the candidate, including sending follow-up communications, tracking pledges, recording data, preparing thorough lists, and running a donor acknowledgement program.
Oversee the expansion of existing donor databases by identifying, researching, and recruiting new donors and escalating them up the ladder of engagement.
Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events. Ensure seamless event logistics, engaging programming, and meaningful donor interactions.
Manage full time junior finance staff and ensure their growth and professional development.
Required Qualifications:
Two cycles or more of relevant campaign finance experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with donors and team members.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Proficiency in NGP VAN, ActBlue, Warchest and other fundraising and compliance tools.
Passion for politics and a commitment to Democratic values.
Virginia finance experience preferred but not required.
**Location: **This is an in-person position based in Woodbridge, Virginia with periodic requirements in Washington, D.C. Travel within Virginia and occasionally out-of-state travel will be required.
**Compensation: **Salary $6,500 - $7,500 per month based on experience. Health insurance stipend will be provided.
