Multiple campaigns for Virginia House of Delegates are hiring a Finance Director. This position will create and implement the finance plan for the 2025 campaign cycle and will manage all fundraising activities. The Finance Director reports jointly to the Campaign Manager and the Candidate.
Job Responsibilities:
The following job responsibilities are the expectation, but not an all-inclusive list.
Create and implement the finance plan to flip the most competitive legislative seat in the Commonwealth of Virginia;
Coordinate donor meetings for Candidate;
Research prospective donors and manage call time;
Plan and successfully execute fundraising events;
Maintain database for prospecting, contribution tracking, and compliance reporting.
Qualifications:
At least one cycle of experience in political fundraising over $1 Million;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, NGP-VAN, ActBlue and other online donation platforms;
Detail-oriented with excellent time management, planning, organization skills;
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and a willingness to hold self and others accountable to campaign goals;
