Job Description

**What we’re looking for: **
The Committee to Elect Ayanna Pressley is hiring a **Finance Director** to lead fundraising efforts to re-elect Ayanna Pressley to Congress in 2024. The Finance Director will work with senior campaign staff and key stakeholders to develop, plan and execute grassroots and high-dollar fundraising events, support digital fundraising, and execute on strategic priorities. 

This role will require strong leadership and communication skills, excellent project management skills, and the ability to inform and adhere to organizational processes. The Finance Director will report directly to Campaign Manager and is a full time position. This is a full-time cycle position running from May 2024 - November 2024, with an opportunity to renew for the Congresswoman’s re-election.

**What we’re offering: **
The monthly compensation for this role is $6,500/month. We offer coverage of medical benefits including vision/dental and PTO. 

**What you’re responsible for: **
As the Finance Director, you are responsible for creating and executing a strategic fundraising plan for the 2024 campaign cycle including grassroots digital fundraising and high dollar fundraising. **In this job, you will:** 

- **think strategically and execute effectively.** To meet quarterly fundraising goals, you’ll be responsible for strategically prospecting, engaging, and converting donors. You’ll run smart digital and email campaigns to expand our base of grassroots donors. 
- **represent the campaign thoughtfully.** Managing relationships with key stakeholders and donors is an important part of this role. You’ll be successful if stakeholders have the resources they need to make the case for Congresswoman Pressley. 
- **manage projects and meet deadlines.** Event planning, travel coordination, vendor management, and database management are all within the finance director scope. You’ll excel in this role if you’re an effective project manager. 
- **sweat the details**. Overseeing operations and compliance, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our records are accurate and error-free! 

**What you bring:**
Our campaign prioritizes building a diverse team committed to advocating for the residents of MA-7. As a campaign practice, we do not require any pre-requisite degrees. **To do this job well, you must: **
- have 2+ years of experience in fundraising, development, or campaign management.

- be an effective project manager and be able to meet tight deadlines. 
- be willing to learn new campaign tools and technologies. 
- have experience problem solving creatively. 
- be a good & kind human.
