In 2018, Jena Griswold was the first Democrat to win the Colorado Secretary of State race since the 1950s and won with an eight percent victory margin. As SoS, Griswold worked with the legislature to pass campaign finance reform, automatic voter registration, and the Colorado Votes Act, which added polling locations and mail ballot drop boxes across the state, guaranteeing them on all public universities and tribal lands.
Now, Jena is running for Attorney General to protect the rights, freedoms, and values that Coloradans hold dear. Job Responsibilities
• Complete donor research on current and prospective donors
• Maintain our database to keep information current and accurate
• Help with campaign fundraisers. On event day, this includes event set-up, staffing the sign-in table, and event clean-up. Prior to event day, you will call campaign supporters to invite them.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the finance team
Qualifications
•Strong commitment to protecting democracy and constitutional rights in Colorado
•Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
•Ability to remain organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
•Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of wide-ranging responsibilities
Preferred Skills
•Prior campaign finance experience
•Familiarity with the Google Suite, NGP, ActBlue, and CallTime.AI or other fundraising platforms
Position Expectations
• We will be hiring finance fellows on a rolling basis. The start date is flexible and will be discussed during the interview process. Preference will be given to applications who have availability through November 13, 2026.
• Fellows are expected to work 10-15 hours per week. Time off can be granted.
• This is an unpaid fellowship. You are welcome to use this fellowship for college credits.
