Friends of May Nivar is seeking a highly motivated Finance Intern to join our team on one of the most
competitive battleground races for the Virginia House of Delegates. This internship will run through June
17th, with the potential to extend beyond the primary election. While the position is primarily remote,
candidates based in the Richmond area are strongly preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Research donors and donor history
Prepare donor information in our database
Maintain confidentiality of donor data and financial records.
Other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Current undergraduate or graduate student
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently on multiple projects
Previous campaign experience is not needed
Salary and Benefits:
Expected pay for this position is $15 an hour, ranging from a minimum of 10 hours a week to 20 hours,
depending on the intern’s schedule. Students may also earn class credit from this internship.
