Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
Location: Hybrid, Kansas (80% remote, travel up to 20% of time for fundraising events)

As we continue to expand our services and client base, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Finance Manager with a specialized focus on fundraising in the political space.
The Finance Manager will:
Oversee campaign fundraising programs and finance-related projects.
Develop, implement, and manage call time programs, fundraising events, texting programs, direct mail campaigns, donor prospecting, and finance staff, and provide compliance guidance and best practices for down ballot campaigns.
Work with the President and Managing Director to coordinate major donor and organizational outreach for large-scale projects, both political and non-profit.
Work across a portfolio of projects, including but not limited to municipal, legislative, congressional, or statewide (including federal) campaigns.
Be responsible for producing detailed reports, finance plans, projections, and financial dashboards.
Hire, train, and manage campaign staff utilizing equitable and inclusive practices.
Promote a healthy work environment in a positive and collaborative manner, and will participate in a minimum of two professional development opportunities annually.
Be a nimble and curious teammate who is willing to train junior staff across departments and leverage analytical skills to contribute to additional projects as appropriate.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in political fundraising, nonprofit fundraising, or related fields, with a proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns and donor relations.
Strong background in project management with preferred experience using Asana or other project management software.
Strong research skills with the ability to identify and qualify prospective donors, fundraising opportunities, and grant sources within the political landscape.
Experience with donor database management and fundraising software (e.g., NGP VAN, ActBlue) preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising appeals and articulate the candidate's platform to donors.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced campaign environment.
Collaborative team player with a proactive and results-driven approach to achieving fundraising goals and campaign success.
Passion for politics and commitment to advancing the candidate's electoral goals through effective fundraising strategies.

Vacation: base rate of 3 weeks (120 hours) annually. An additional week (40 hours) is added on 2nd and 3rd anniversaries for a max of 5 weeks (200 hours).
Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel.
