Debbie Mucarsel-Powell’s campaign for U.S. Senate is seeking a ** Florida Finance Director** to join a growing finance team. The Florida Finance Director will work with the National Finance Director to oversee the campaign’s fundraising and grow the campaign’s in-state presence.
Responsibilities:
Work with National Finance Director and FL finance consultant in developing and executing in-state finance program and in managing the operations of the in-state finance team
Help hire and manage in-state fundraising team
Work closely with the call time team on candidate in-state call time and outreach
Oversee in-state fundraising events schedule and the team’s execution of events
Cultivate, build, and maintain relationships with Florida donors
Manage in-state finance committee
Staff in-state events
Other responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
2 cycles of campaign fundraising experience
Prior call time, event planning, donor maintenance, and principal management/staffing experience
Prior working experience with NGP 8, ActBlue, Word, and Google Sheets/ Excel
Strong writing, organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and passion for the work
Flexible and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation

Valued Non-essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Florida ties
Spanish fluency
Prior staff management experience
Location:
This position is based in Miami, FL and will involve travel around Florida.
Salary:
The salary for this position starts at $6,500 per month with the exact salary depending on experience.
