About the Role
The Fundraising Associate supports day-to-day fundraising operations, working closely with firm leadership and engaging directly with clients on strategy and execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and takes initiative. This is a hybrid position based in Chicago with a regular weekly schedule that accommodates both remote work and regular in-person attendance at our Chicago office. Candidates must live in, or be willing to relocate to, the Chicago area.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and staff fundraising call time, including drafting and sending donor communications
Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors via email, phone, and in person
Serve as a key point of contact for clients on fundraising-related matters
Plan and execute fundraising events, including host recruitment, donor outreach, pledge tracking, and follow-up
Manage and maintain NGP database systems
Conduct donor research and identify new fundraising prospects
