**Job Title: **Office Director

**Reports to: **Regional Director

**Status: **The position of Office Director is considered exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is and is subject to an expectation that a minimum of 40 hours will be worked each week.

**Attendance: **At least a 90% attendance record is required in all roles within Pathway Strategy Group (PSG).

**Additional Demands: **The role includes carrying equipment, walking to and from sites, and standing for long periods of time. You will be expected to work outside and be exposed to extreme weather. Reliable transportation required.

Job Purpose:

  • To represent the ‘For Purpose’ clients of PSG by conveying key messages to potential supporters in order to secure high volumes of new committed donors to non-profit organizations with low attrition rates through Canvassing/Face to Face (F2F) Fundraising.

  • To manage all aspects of an PSG office, including to recruit, induct, train, mentor, manage and coach Canvassers and Team Leaders to ensure that PSG’s ambitious targets are consistently exceeded in terms of productivity and quality.

Key Accountabilities

  • Office Directors are required to complete an introductory staffing period to demonstrate successful fundraising ability in order to qualify for the Director role

Managing the Office’s Recruitment of Committed Givers:

  • Consistently exceed the recruitment targets set by the Regional Director; this will normally be a minimum number of new committed givers per Canvasser, per shift within agreed quality metrics;

  • Demonstrate leadership and excellence by canvassing regularly (the expectation would be that, to ensure the office targets are exceeded, Office Directors will be actively canvassing for at least two days per week and daily until successful Team Leaders are identified)

  • Assist in the development of Canvasser recruitment planning, and ensure that there are sufficient Canvassers to achieve PSG’s productivity targets;

  • Deliver PSG’s Training Program, client training and additional ad hoc training to ensure that all Canvassers and Team Leaders are able to achieve their individual targets;

  • Provide real time coaching for Canvassers and Team Leaders in the event that motivation levels temporarily deviate from the highest possible levels;

  • Manage the performance of Canvassers and Team Leaders and applying the performance management processes and principles of PSG on a proactive and timely basis;

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all administrative processes within the office, This includes, but is not limited to: accuracy of donor records, timekeeping records, financial records, and all Human Resources (HR) processes and procedures.

  • Liaise with site managers and staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the canvassing activity and to actively seek and report new venues and locations in which to operate;

  • Ensuring that all office personnel follow PSG’s various Codes of Conduct at all times and without exception. Taking prompt action in the event of any breach in this area.

  • Must have availability to work unsocial hours including weekends, public holidays and some evenings as the nature of the role will regularly require this.

Essential Qualifications & Attributes

  • A successful track record in Canvassing/F2F Fundraising;

  • Proven experience in leading a team within a Canvassing/F2F Fundraising environment; identifiable leadership skills and the respect of your colleagues;

  • Professional level competence in written and spoken English;

  • Accuracy in all written and electronic record keeping.

  • Access to reliable transport
