The Elect Katie Hobbs campaign is seeking a full-time Events Manager to work with the campaign through the 2026 election cycle. The Events Manager will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the fundraising team. This position will directly report to the Deputy Finance Director and is a unique opportunity to obtain significant experience in all aspects of political fundraising on a top-tier gubernatorial campaign.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with all members of the finance staff to execute the finance plan
Build an in state fundraising events program. This includes being responsible for an event schedule, host management, principal call lists, and attendee recruitment.
Staff in state fundraising events
Manage a staff outreach program to invite donors to fundraising events via calls, texts, and emails
Identify and build relationships with potential hosts
Work with senior finance staff and consultants to build national fundraising events
Support the Arizona donor meeting program
Requirements
Detail oriented self-starter with at least one cycle of experience fundraising for Democratic campaigns or causes
Experience building fundraising events
Proficiency in fundraising databases such as NGP
Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of wide-ranging responsibilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities at once, meet key deadlines, and work in fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
