**Location: **Flexible (the intern may decide whether to work remotely and/or from an LCV office)
**Duration: **12 Weeks – September – December 2024 (start and end dates flexible)
**Schedule and Compensation: **15-20 hours; $17.50 per hour

For more than 50 years, LCV has grown into a potent political force for protecting our planet and everyone who inhabits it. We have built a powerful national movement with 30 state affiliates, and grassroots and community organizing programs across the country.
The GiveGreen program is focused on elevating climate champions to elected office through direct fundraising support and building power to ensure federal and state policy action on climate and environmental justice issues. GiveGreen is a collaboration between LCV Victory Fund and NRDC Action Votes. GiveGreen offers political donors a powerful, easy, and strategic way to support environmental candidates and accelerate action on climate change. The program has raised over $140 million for candidates since its inception. Some GiveGreen activities are also conducted by LCV Action Fund and NRDC Action Fund PAC.
LCV is seeking a GiveGreen Intern who will support the Manager of Marketing in crafting GiveGreen’s email messaging, coding landing pages, providing event support, and working with our new website. Special projects may include assisting with A/B email testing, donor ROI reports, and support in GiveGreen’s new website. The GiveGreen Intern will join a Fall 2024 internship cohort that will have access to development opportunities including a Capstone project, informational interviews with staff, and organization-wide training and discussions.
Working with CRMs and Digital Tools: Salesforce, Action Network, GiveGreen’s new website.
Assisting with coding in HTML & CSS.
Assisting in drafting and editing messaging.
Event support in tracking RSVPs.
Maintaining records of donor questions and feedback.
Working on multiple projects and developing project management skills working with the GiveGreen team and partners.
Electoral fundraising and assisting the compliance team in reporting.
Actively participating in centering racial justice and equity in communications, ensuring all materials also reflect the racial justice and equity goals of GiveGreen.
Experience: Experience with website management or HTML coding.
Skills: Highly organized; strong attention to detail; excellent written and oral communications skills; strong research skills; exhibits solid judgment; critical thinking skills; able to work independently and as a team; able to handle multiple tasks; self-starter; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
