JOB DESCRIPTION

The Florida Democratic Party and Harris for President are seeking a ** GOTV Director** to help lead Democrats up and down the ticket to victory in 2024. As the GOTV Director, you will work as part of the Leadership team to execute and coordinate the Florida Democratic Coordinated Campaign's GOTV program that will drive direct voter outreach. The ideal applicant works well in fast-paced environments, and can effectively communicate within our team and across departments. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-moving environment, can communicate well with various teams and audiences and has previous experience with voter contact/GOTV efforts.

 

Responsibilities

  • Execute the statewide GOTV plan in partnership with all Florida Coordinated teams and Harris For President.

  • Planning logistics with the Operations team to ensure we have the resources prepared and necessary to win throughout the State of Florida.

  • Execute necessary GOTV programs throughout the state, including statewide packet production.

  • Work with Florida Coordinated teams to ensure that regional GOTV goals, voter contact efforts, and program needs are aligned with statewide GOTV plans.

  • Track and manage regional staging locations and office preparedness for GOTV.

  • Monitor and respond to all GOTV-related needs within the campaign.

  • Assist with preparing, running and appropriate follow up of GOTV events.

  • Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by State or National Leadership.

  • On-year requirements include working outside of normal work hours; including canvassing and other election preparation as necessary.

  • Access to reliable transportation and a willingness to travel frequently. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large and diverse organizing team to achieve high goals in high-pressure, rapidly changing circumstances, such as GOTV.

  • Proficiency in Spanish helpful.

  • Willing to relocate to a battleground state.
