JOB DESCRIPTION

Liftoff is seeking a talented Graphic Design Contractor to join our growing team.

 

Liftoff is an innovative digital fundraising and communications firm. Our clients are statewide and local political campaigns, advocates, non-profits, and changemakers working to advance Democratic priorities.

 

We are looking for a creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is eager to employ their graphic design skills to help elect Democrats. The ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple projects simultaneously is crucial, as is prior experience with design platforms like Adobe Creative Suite. Prior experience on a political campaign or advocacy organization is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Dedicate 10-20 hours per week to create graphics for fundraising emails, text messages, and social media platforms.

  • Create compelling visual content that aligns with clients’ branding and campaign objectives. 

  • Collaborate closely with the digital strategy teams to conceptualize and execute designs that enhance online fundraising and communication efforts.

  • Manage the design process from start to finish, including initial mock-ups, revisions based on internal and client feedback, and final delivery.

 

Experience we look for:

 

  • Passion for good causes, whether candidates or other;

  • 2-4 years of work experience with at least 1 campaign cycle of experience in a dedicated digital fundraising role;

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar platforms

  • Prior work at an agency; working with or at non-profits or political/issue campaigns. 

  • Familiarity with digital campaign strategies and how design influences user engagement and conversion.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
