The Grassroots Campaign Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a small, people-powered City Council campaign. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about local politics, community engagement, and winning elections with limited resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage overall campaign strategy and daily operations in collaboration with the candidate
Direct, delegate, and review tasks to campaign leads, including Finance Director, Field Coordinator, Communication Director, etc.
Oversee fundraising strategy, donor tracking, and compliance with local election laws
Manage campaign budget, timeline, and reporting
Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, vendors, and community stakeholders
Track voter data, metrics, and progress toward campaign goals
Prepare the candidate for events, forums, debates, and media opportunities
Qualifications:
Prior campaign, organizing, or political experience preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment
Commitment to grassroots, community-centered political work
