JOB DESCRIPTION

The Bale Dalton for Congress campaign is seeking a Head Organizer. This staffer will report to the Campaign Manager in a competitive, battleground race that presents one of the top flip opportunities in the South.

Responsibilities 

• Recruit and train volunteers for voter contact, including door knocking and phone banks

• Foster strong relationships with community leaders, and build canvasses, phone banks, and community events

• Track data related to voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and vote-by-mail metrics 

• Use data to own and tailor a field plan for FL-07

• Work with the campaign manager and broader team to develop and implement organizing materials and resources 

• Engage in direct voter contact as needed 

• Help train and manage interns and volunteers 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with VAN/Votebuilder

• Prior experience organizing or working on a campaign

• Spanish language skills a plus

• Team player, well organized, and able to manage multiple fast-moving projects at once 

• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment that will include some nights and weekends

•  

• Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation

• Based in Florida’s Seventh District or willing to relocate

Compensation 

The salary range for this position is $4,500 – $5,000/month, commensurate with experience. Healthcare benefits and/or a monthly health care stipend will be provided.
