Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee (SSDC) Overview

The mission of the Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee is to elect more Democratic leaders to the Wisconsin State Senate. The SSDC provides the critical funding, infrastructure, and guidance that Democratic candidates need to fight and win. In 2024, the Wisconsin Senate Democrats broke the Republican supermajority in the State Senate, flipped all four of the targeted districts and successfully defended all Senate incumbents. That means, for the first time in over a decade, Democrats are poised to take back the majority in the Wisconsin State Senate in 2026. The work the SSDC needs to do to prepare for flipping the Wisconsin State Senate in 2026 starts right now.
